The salvation Jesus offers and Joseph was key in restoring, is retroactive for all those that have died without the gospel, just as the Atonement covered all those who'd already lived and sinned, before the Savior came. Of course its only retroactive, if we, the living do the proxy work for them. Thats one we can add to the list: - He implemented saving ordinances performed by the living, for the dead.
